The purpose of this policy is to explain the types of advertising that we accept on our portal and the limitations that we impose on advertising. The advertising and independent, editorial content on our portal are distinct and easily identifiable. We ensure that the quality, accuracy or selection of editorial content and services that we provide to you is uninfluenced by the advertising and is well segregated from the editorial content you see on our portal.

We do not endorse products, services or companies.
We have not evaluated the products and services advertised on our portal. We do not guarantee appearance of those products, services or the companies that manufacture, distribute or promote such products or services. The fact that certain products and services are advertised on our portal is not an endorsement of those products and services and does not influence the editorial content on our site. We clearly identify all sponsoring.
Our established guidelines can very well explain on how we label sponsorship so that you’ll know what a sponsorship is or advertisement and what editorial content is. Clear and consistent language and visual cues have been used to distinguish sponsorship / advertising from editorial content.

• Our personal information is not used to determine which advertisements you will see when you visit our portal.
• The way search results are displayed on our portal is uninfluenced by advertisers.
• Advertisers are prohibited from placing any advertising that:
  • Obscene words, phrases, and profanity
  • Contains false or misleading claims
  • Promotes ineffective or dangerous products
  • Promotes products that are illegal or whose distribution would violate the law
  • Promotes betting or gambling
  • Promotes pornography, intolerant jokes, slurs etc.
  • Advocates a political, religious or controversial public position or candidate for public office
  • Pictures or text advocating prejudice or discrimination against any race, color, national origin, religion, disability or handicap, gender, or sexual orientation.
  • With respect to alcohol and tobacco advertising, we do not accept advertising that promotes alcohol or tobacco products. However, we may accept promotions for educational campaigns such as smoking cessation and responsible drinking messages that are consistent with genuine efforts to educate consumers, rather than surreptitious attempts to promote consumption of alcohol and tobacco.
